As a commonly used storage instrument in the laboratory, the daily management of liquid nitrogen tank is also very important other than normal use. It mainly includes three parts, namely placement, cleaning and transportation.
1. Placement of storage liquid nitrogen tank
The placement of liquid nitrogen tank is very particular. The most important thing is to put the liquid nitrogen tank in a cool and ventilated indoor environment, and do not expose it to the sun. Additionally, in placement, do not tilt, stack, invert or collide with other items, and handle it with care.
2. Cleaning of lab liquid nitrogen container
If the liquid nitrogen tank will not be used for a period of time, be sure to do a good job of cleaning. First, rinse it with clean water, then pour out the water and dry it with a blower, and put it at room temperature for use.
At the same time, as we know, the liquid nitrogen inside the liquid nitrogen tank will gradually evaporate, and the remaining residues such as frozen sperm will quickly melt and adhere to the inner tank, which will cause corrosion to the inner tank over time, so it is necessary to scrub the inside of liquid nitrogen tank.
3. Transportation of transport-type liquid nitrogen tank
Be careful during the transportation of liquid nitrogen tanks, and use shock-absorbing materials such as soft pads under the liquid nitrogen tank and fix it well to prevent toppling and bumping during transportation.
